Who is responsible

Forza Trading Enterprise organises the festival and is responsible for the information collected on this website.

What we collect

Only the open call form collects personal information: your name, e-mail address, phone number, film title, category and running time, a short synopsis, an optional link to your film, whether you are based in the Free State, and your agreement that we may store these details.

Why we collect it

To assess your film for the festival and to contact you about it.

Where it is kept

Each submission is stored on the server of our web hosting provider, and a copy is sent to the festival e-mail address. Access is limited to the festival team and the administrator of this website.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies and has no analytics or advertising trackers. Our web host keeps standard server logs, which record visitors' network addresses for security and fault-finding.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you may ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us at the e-mail address above.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your information, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at https://inforegulator.org.za.
